December 1st is rolling right around—Thanksgiving is over, Black Friday is (thankfully) over, and it’s time to start hinting to your loved ones (and yourself) exactly what you want or need for Christmas this year. Think of these as gifts for your home so when all the holiday cleaning is done, your house looks even more beautiful than before the season began.
“Quiet Luxury” gifts for the home are timeless and high quality. They are feel good statements for the home that aren’t flashy, but add just the right touch to make home feel like home.
So if you’re struggling to make that Christmas list, check out these Top 10 “Quiet Luxury” Home Christmas List Essentials.
1. Diptyque Délice Candle (Classic Candle with Golden Lid)

Bring in the aroma of the season with this lovely Diptyque Délice Candle!
The packaging of Diptyque is what sets them apart as they become part of your space and illuminating it with a long-lasting steady glow. It has that festive but solemn holiday aura to it also that adds to the elegance. I love reading a book next to a well long-burning candle to keep me company.
The Délice Candle is perfect for Christmas nights with the snow pouring on the windows outside as you keep warm with a fire and aromatic dried fruits and vanilla!
2. TWG Festive Christmas Tea Gift Set

Next to a great candle should be the perfect cup of tea. If you’re reading a book, watching Succession, or simply enjoying the night, having a great cup of tea steaming against your palm is a must. I love TWG teas that don’t taste dried-out and have that full aromatic richness to stimulate the mood.
This Gift Set also includes cookies to accompany the tea you have. Perfect.
3. House of Hackney Cheetah Bookends

If you’re a book lover—or a lover of how books look on your shelf, these House of Hackney Cheetah bookends are stylish and well, beautiful to hold up your Jane Austen (or James Patterson) collection. Set on black porcelain, these bring a sense of power and adventure to the worlds you experience inside of your books. These cheetahs are also hand-painted which give your home that sense of an individual spirit and uniqueness.
Few things in the world are as classy, stately, stylish, and awesome as great books with great bookends—I love these.
4. Le Creuset Classic Whistling Tea Kettle

What I’ve always loved about Le Creuset is they have so many cool colors to choose from and give character to your kitchen. For this season, I really love the Rhone color kettle with the gold handles . To me, it looks like the beautiful color of holly but can be used year-round.
The gold handles are a really nice touch and I’m big on quality metals that interact well with lighting—especially on winter nights when it is dark, any illumination off a metal is a lovely sight.
This is definitely one I want crammed into my stocking and on my stove to make TWG that tea.
5. Vosges Haut Chocolate Dipped Belgian Speculoos Cookies

The name alone should do the trick to put this on your list. It’s mouthwatering, delicious, and a pure taste of Chicago. With all the tea, mugs, candles, and everything else on this list for your home—it’s essential to be able to enjoy those with some incredible chocolate. Over the years, Vosges Haut-Chocolate has been my favorite and I always keep a bar in the house on standby, waiting for its demise.
These cookies are dipped in milk chocolate and doused in sprinkles. Perfect for teatime, especially with. . .
6. Iitala Taika Blue Folklore Style Mugs

I adore the folklore mugs of Finnish brand Iitala and how they adorn a home (To prove it, I’m drinking Earl Grey out of this exact one right now!). They bring a Scandinavian sense of wonder into your space while also just being well-made. I love drinking tea from well made objects and the implementation of Finnish folklore makes this feel charming.
A little less pricey than some of the other objects on this list, they hold up in quality, beauty, charm, and belong in everyone’s kitchen, hand, and with amazing tea wafting up at them!
7. Feng Shui E-Consultancy
Not every great gift is an object—in fact, thinking about it now, gifts that are experiences can be truly transforming. One clever and resourceful gift to give yourself, friend, or family member is a Feng Shui consultation. In a nutshell, Feng Shui is the art of making a home by changing energy patterns. Through decluttering and strategic interior layouts, a home can quickly change your mood, productivity and how you function in your environment. Do yourself and your home a favor. Book a Feng Shui consultation.

8. Nannette de Gaspé Youth Revealed Hand Cream

Winter.
Enemy of skin.
Creator of dryness.
I prize hand creams that keep my hands feeling smooth and soft during these months. My automatic go-to is Nannette de Gaspe’s Youth Revealed Hand Cream—its rich, creamy texture packed with vitamins will instantly make your hands look young and glowy. This is an everyday must that I depend upon and need in close reach. It’s perfect for Christmas so you don’t hold your nighttime tea with dry crab claws.
The floral packaging is also aesthetically beautiful for your bag or bathroom space with its purple and pink petal flowers on the tube. Absolute luxury.
9. Malbi Multicolor Tricot Individual Bowls (Set of 6)
Credit: Malbi
These Tuscan-made bowls are colorful, retro, and rock. I love using different colors mixed together which gives spark to a dining room. They are elegant while functional in the same breath. Each piece is individually handblown. The range of colors can compliment any dishware you own, whether it be modern or vintage.
When you serve family and guests with colorful serving pieces, watch the subtle spark of energy that happens. Colorful dishware and servingware leads to ignited conversations and moments with others.
When I see these bowls I feel a sense of joy and wonder from the colorful, organic shapes—that’s what well made objects do, especially at this time of year.
10. Nesti-Dante Romantica Set of 6 Soaps
Credit: Nesti-Dante Soaps
After all the holiday shopping, cooking, unwrapping, decorating, tea drinking, and all else, it’s always still important to have your hands clean.
I keep this set of Nest-Dante Italian soaps in my bathroom since the different aromas they have are outstanding. I’m especially a big fan of the Florentine Rose and Peony scent. It simply smells like I’ve been transported to a spring flower garden.
